Acts of Kindness

TARGET Area will be executing Acts of Kindness (AK) on Wednesday, June 21st 5pm – 7pm at the intersection of 79th St & Ashland Ave to spread KINDNESS by being a bright spot in the community. AK is dedicated to encouraging and empowering people to practice kindness in their everyday lives.
On this day, we will inspire and motivate the community through KINDNESS by:
• Engaging and galvanizing the community with kindness
• Distributing water, kindness cards, fruit snacks, hearts and other items
• Sharing literature on community resources and job opportunities
• Engaging people with smiles, handshakes and conversation
If you would like to support this event, here is what you can do:
1) Donations can be dropped-off at 1542 W. 79th St (TARGET Area) Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. Large donations can be picked-up by contacting Steven Perkins. Preferred donations include bottled water, chips, granola bars, fruit snacks and other treats.
2) Monetary donations can be mailed by check/money order TARGET Area 1542 W. 79th St. Chicago, IL 60620 with the memo “Acts of Kindness Donation”. Mailing should be to the attention of Steven Perkins.
