Friday October 27th & Saturday October 28th

Founded in 2016, GCI is celebrating a successful first year of service and the launch of Chatham Center Chicago, a community branded consumer retail and business corridor improvement project.

This indoor/outdoor festival centered at 544 E. 79th Street, introduces the City of Chicago Chatham BOOMBOX and offers continuous family fun activities Friday 10/27 and Saturday 10/28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. including:

  • Access to the hay maze, haunted house and pony ride for a total price of $7.00 per person,
  • Free access to the petting zoo, photo booth, painted pumpkins, face painting station,
  • Lots of challenging games like bowling, bean bag toss and more are available all day.

Saturday Oct. 28

Trolley Tour (9:30 – Noon)

Chatham Center Chicago Launch (Noon – 12:30)

Jessie White Tumblers (1:30 – 2:00)

Photo Contest Winner (2:00 – 2:15)

Lots of Free Fun:

Jessie White Tumblers, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Photo Booth, Music/DJ, Crafts, Food, Games and More

Saturday 10/28 is the official launch of Chatham Center Chicago.

Besides arts, crafts, food, and retail vendors, additional free activities this day include:

  • 9:30 – 12:00 Trolley tour highlighting the local history and attractions of Greater Chatham
  • 12:00 – 12:30 Chatham Center Chicago Launch
  • 1:30 – 2:00 World famous and Chicago’s favorite, Jessie White Tumblers
  • 2:00 – 2:15 Greater Chatham Hidden Beauty Youth Photo contest
  • 2:30 – 3:00 GCI Harvest Fest’ 2017 Costume Parade
  • DJ music and live entertainment throughout the day

Sunday 10/29 through Tuesday 10/31, the haunted house will be the Festival’s only attraction.

Open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day, the cost for entrance is $8/person. Beginning 10/29, haunted house and Chatham Center Chicago t-shirt discount coupons are available throughout the GCI area.
