Bankers Building Bridges “We Build Together” Homeownership Event

The Department of Planning and Development, Housing Division cordially invites you to attend the Bankers Building Bridges, “WE BUILD TOGETHER” homeownership event. This event will bring together our financial partners and pre-approved residents interested in purchasing a home or investment property in the Micro Market Recovery Program targeted areas.
It will be held on Saturday, April 21st, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 2635 S. Wabash. Our goal will be to match residents with the appropriate financial partner to assist them through the process of becoming homeowners or purchasing their first real estate investment properties. This will be a massive marketing campaign to educate families on the unique products and services being offered by our participating financial partners. The event will also spark dialogue between the community and lenders to take a deeper dive into finding solutions for families in accessing capital for the purchase and rehabilitation of properties within the MMRP areas.
The goal of the “WE BUILD TOGETHER” event will be to bring potential homebuyers, lenders and our MMRP community partners together to provide educational information on grants, incentives and financial products.
