Brown Memorial Park Annual Chatham Community Picnic

What: The Brown Park Advisory Board, Gathering Point Community Council and Greater Chatham Alliance (GCA) are holding their 4rd annual Chatham Community picnic/Seniors Jazz in the Park event. The picnic is held to honor our Black Chicago Firefighters that were killed in the line of duty and our Seniors. The park is named after Sidney Brown. He was the first black Chicago Firefighter to die while fighting a fire.
